New Job, Less Stress, More Money

Need I say more?
I am now doing community collaborations-in other words, I get to schmooze for work. I try to get communities to work togther on issues.
Now, you must know, I am not , at this point in time, a supporter of Hillary for the democratic nomination for president. However, IT REALLY DOES TAKE A VILLAGE to raise a child, and I never could understand the objection to that concept.
I surely don't want the government interfering for the most part (government defined as community) but, how many of us can tell the story of Mrs. Brown letting our mother know she had seen us at the local candy store, when our mother thought we were in school. Or how many of us were able to go to our neighbor's house after school, because our mother needed to take grandpa to the doctor.
How many of us could depend on our neighbors for help if we needed it now, and aren't our neighbors quicker to step in then asking the government to do something?
Community, folks...we are how things happen!
